First Post
Okay. Here it is. The first post for the brand new Manila Single Malt blog. It may take me a few tries to get this set up so that everyone is happy with it.
The plan is that all of the members on request will have their own unique username and password enabling them to post on the blog. Requests for a username and password should be submitted in the form of a comment on this or any subsequent post on this blog. I'll try, as Keeper of the Book, to take a few pictures for posting each time the club meets, and accompany the picture or pictures with a brief summary of each meeting.
For those not in the know, the club is currently in a state of transition as the club's founder has recently been spirited off to a remote island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, leaving behind an impressive collection of single malt whiskeys accumulated over a number of years through some serious duty free shopping in stores at a number of airports, mostly in Asia, but also in a good number of other localities throughout the world as well. The whiskey is stored in a locked bar at a secure location known only to the club's members.
It has not yet been determined when the next meeting of the Manila Single Malt club will take place, but rest assured, it will, and an announcement of the date and time will be posted on this blog. An e-mail will be circulated to all of the members with a link to this blog and members are encouraged to post comments on this or subsequent posts. A good starting point would be to indicate whether or not you wish to have a username and password for adding your own posts to the blog.
